I wanted to recommend Prestige Build and Management Ltd to the users of the East Dulwich forum. Jay Gentle and his team have completed many projects for us over the last 10 years ranging from building of built in storage units in bedrooms to major works such as a new roof & chimney stacks, installation of a wet room and most recently a double rear kitchen and living extension. I have always been extremely happy with the results. The quality is always extremely high regardless of the size of the job being undertaken.

Prestige may be a little more expensive but they strongly deliver on quality, customer service and professionalism. I am an avid reader of the East Dulwich Forum chat room and Jay’s name was mentioned several times by members of the Forum. I also researched Southwark Council Approved Builders List and found Jay and Prestige Build listed on there. Jay has an uncanny knack of producing sub contractors of very high calibre! I cannot fault any of their workmanship. I have never had work so painstakingly undertaken, of the highest quality, and in a timely fashion.

Although we received a number of recommendations from previous Prestige build clients we were still apprehensive due to the scale and complexity of the proposed work. The final outcome of the project has exceeded our expectations and has provided us with an amazing living space while at the same time adding value to the property. If you want a quick cheap project then they might not be the most suitable but if you want a high quality finish with a great working relationship then I would defiantly recommend them.

They created a unique space that is nothing short of wonderful. The quality of the work was superb, and was delivered exactly as promised, they even suggested things that would increase the value of my property. I can't recommend them highly enough. Even more critically, after the job was done and they had already received all of their payment. They have still been very responsive to calls and have worked quickly to fix the small issues that tend to come up after a major renovation, once you actually start living in the property. If you want a building company who will do great work, will be honest with you, who don't cut corners and who makes sure all building permits/licenses are approved and legal. A team who you don't have to watch every second of the day then I wouldn't think twice about going with Prestige Build & Management ltd.

Once we above ground the finesse part came and we are so happy with the quality of the work. Jay was asking us questions that we had not thought and I wished the previous builder had given us this service. The stone work is great. (Outside tiles align with inside etc etc). The pointing is very smart. (Never thought I would be excited about neat pointing but I am- Thanks Gabriel) Multiple light points had been thought out and other little details. I never thought there was much difference in painting quality but I would be wrong. They also hit the required deadlines for the kitchen people to come and fit which was really important. I even had Jay drive down to Ascot to inspect some doors for me when our original supplier fell through. Everyone who has seen it has said how beautiful it is and this includes some property developers who were impressed with the final product.
